Former BART General Manager Dorothy Dugger received $333,000 in gross salary last year even though she didn't work a single day, according to the Contra Costa Times.

Dugger, 57, resigned under pressure from BART's board of directors two years ago.

However, under her retirement agreement, she stayed on the payroll in 2012, using up 80 weeks of accrued vacation time from her 20 years at the transit agency. She also received paychecks and full benefits for 19 months after her May 2011 departure, according to the Times.

By staying on the payroll, Dugger accrued almost two extra months of vacation, the Times reported.

The payments are in addition to the $920,000 buyout to Dugger approved by the board after the directors botched an attempt to fire her when they violated public meeting laws.
