Purse-Grab Robbery of Woman on Telegraph Ave.
A 21-year-old woman was robbed of her purse on Telegraph Avenue five blocks from the UC Berkeley campus early this morning, Friday, according to campus police.
A 21-year-old woman had her purse snatched away from her in a strong-arm robbery on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley early this morning, Friday, according to UC Berkeley police.
The victim was walking on Telegraph near Blake Street at 1:05 a.m. when the robber approached from behind, pulled her purse away and fled on foot, police said.
The victim was not injured in the robbery.
UC and Berkeley police searched the area but did not locate a suspect, police said.
