<strong>The Crowden Music Center serves as a vital musical hub for the Bay Area. </strong>We combine music and education to nurture, develop, and inspire students of all ages, and provide essential support to the musical life of the community.

Music education is available to the entire community through our two divisions: <br> <br> <strong>The Crowden School, an inspired music day school for students in grades four through eight,</strong> combines an intellectually engaging academic curriculum with a rich, distinguished music program. This unique school, the first of its kind in the nation, produces self confident, creative individuals who excel in all areas of life, not just music.<br> <br> <strong>Crowden Center for Music in the Community </strong>offers private lessons, classes, ensembles, concerts, and camps for students of all ages, including:

John Adams Young Composers Program

Chamber music ensembles and workshops for youth and adult amateurs

Extensive exploratory and music classes for young children

Suzuki Strings

Sundays &#64; Four chamber music series (18 &amp; under free)

Community Music Day, a free musical carnival

Very First Concerts with the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra (free)
