People's Bazaar

<p>Walking into People's Bazaar on Adeline Street is much like entering 50 different flea markets from 100 years ago, all packed into one cozy shop. Since 1972, the Berkeley-based antiques retailer has been scouring estate sales and European vendors for rare finds on vintage items. The store's walls are lined with antique artwork and hand-woven rugs and narrow aisles lead visitors through a maze of collectible housewares and furniture.</p> <p>People's Bazaar also sets up staging for various local theater and performance groups, with one notable set being that of the San Francisco-based television show <em>Nash Bridges.</em></p>
