Oscar's Hot Dogs

Oscar's is a familiar beacon on the corner of Hearst and Shattuck. "Nobody's been here longer than us," said the cashier inside when asked how long Oscar's has been around. A sign on the door says the establishment has been serving up hot dogs and hamburgers – cooked in front of you on an open flame – since 1950. The restaurant decor reflects its support of Cal Berkeley, located directly up the street.
