Nielsen Arts, formerly Nielsen Framing, has served the Berkeley and Albany communities since the 1960s. New owner Patrick Mercer purchased the framing shop from its previous owner. In addition to offering custom matting and framing services, Mercer has expanded the shop to include an art gallery for local artists' work. The shop also hosts regular gallery nights to showcase new artists.
