Franciscan School of Theology

This Catholic graduate school on North Berkeley's "Holy Hill" offers several masters degrees with both an academic and a ministerial focus. It also offers an academic MA degree in partnership with the Graduate Theological Union, of which it is a member. The student body is diverse, featuring ordained Catholic clergy, lay Catholics and individuals who are just interested in learning more about faith, service and theology. There is a greatly reduced introductory "Taste and See" tuition rate for new students in 2011 — $700 per course plus books and incidental fees.
