Berkeley Thai House

A short walk from the UC campus, Berkeley Thai House serves traditional Thai food with friendly service, in an airy and open atmosphere. Perched on a slope on Channing Way (and accessible by a steep set of stairs), the restaurant is unique in that much of its seating is outdoors, on a large sunny patio, although it does offer indoor seating, too. The menu lists dishes familiar to anyone who has had Thai cuisine (Pad Thai, Pad Woon-Sen, Pad See-Ew) as well as various meat, vegetable, noodle and curry dishes of its own creation. The restaurant has been voted 'Best Thai' by the <i>Daily Californian,</i> and also accepts the Cal1 card (for Berkeley students).
