Buy Local Berkeley and East Bay Bicycle Coalition Offer Fun Holiday Shopping Bike Ride on Dec. 8th, 1-4 pm
Do your holiday shopping by bicycle! Buy Local Berkeley is teaming up with the East Bay Bicycle Coalition and the Ecology Center to offer a fun and festive holiday shopping bike ride across various merchant districts in Berkeley, stopping at locally-owned and green businesses who are offering some great deals/coupons from a special mobile app provided by Buy Local Berkeley and Chinook Book. We'll have a trailer available to carry gifts. Bring a light. Kids welcome!
Itinerary:
1 pm: Meet at Peet's on 4th St. We'll have cookies and other treats. We'll browse on 4th St. and point you in the direction of the Potter's Studio as well.
1:45 pm: Bike to Dwight/San Pablo to look at some uber-green and local shops (Ecology Center, Georgous & Green)
2:15: Head to Sticky Art Lab for an Kid- and Adult-Friendly Open house with unique gifts... and more treats!
3:00: Head downtown to stop at a few unique local shops
3:45: End at Elmwood for more treats and more fun browsing!
