The City of Walnut Creeks, Civic Arts Education program offers three developmental preschool programs in sites around the City.

Our three programs offer special learning environments conducive to a child’s learning and creative interests.  The programs all provide a balanced/integrated preschool and arts curriculum where children’s emerging ideas and interests play an important part in our planning.  Children are encouraged to play, explore and discover the world around them from many different perspectives.  To make this initial experience exciting and meaningful, our programs and staff offer a developmentally appropriate, engaging, and safe environment, conducive to learning, with a caring, nurturing, and experienced professional teaching staff.

We encourage parents to take an active role in their child’s preschool education and offer a variety of activities from volunteering in the classroom to participating in special family events that support our programs.
