Spring Art Days

Spring Art Days:  April 9 - 13

Ages: 5 - 10

Come spend a day or even the whole week at our annual Spring Art Days program.  Civic Arts Education is offering five days of creative, hands-on art experiences based on daily themes using interesting recyclables and lots of different art mediums from painting to printmaking.  Along with visual art activities, students will have the opportunity to participate in active theater games as part of the morning.  Lisa Taft and Tracy Randolph will be back to help you create your ideas and stir your imagination. 

Themes for the week of April 9 - 13 include: Big Book Building (Monday) Secret Garden (Tuesday) Whales, Snails, and Submarines (Wednesday) Art Space Launch (Thursday) and Eco Friendly Art (Friday). 

All classes are held at the Shadelands Art Center April 9 - 13 from 9:30am to 12:30 pm for ages 5 - 10.  The fee is $33.00 per day and children should bring a drink and snack.  Registration is now open.  You can contact the Shadelands office at 925-943-5846 or register on-line at arts-ed.org.
