School District Wants Public's Help in Choosing New Superintendent

The first of three community forums is tonight at Malcolm X School.

From a Berkeley Unified School District press release:

You are invited this week to take part in supporting the School Board in its search for Berkeley's next Superintendent by attending a community forum and/or taking a brief survey.

Your participation is needed to help develop the criteria and questions for the critical screening and interviewing stages of the Superintendent hiring process.

Come to a Community Forum this week:

Thurs., Feb. 28 - Malcolm X School, multi-purpose room, 1731 Prince Street, 7-8:30 p.m.

In Spanish: Fri., Mar. 1 - King Middle School, Staff Lounge (enter from interior courtyard), 1781 Rose Street, 7-8:30 p.m.

Sat., Mar. 2 -  BUSD Administration Building, 2020 Bonar Street, Room 126, 9:30 - 11 a.m.

All forums will have English/Spanish interpretation, childcare, and food available.
