Teen work training program June - August

Teen work training program  June - August

We will teach your teen (12-17)  the basics of getting a job and more importantly KEEPING a job.  How to manage interviews, starting entrepreneurships,  advertising,  starting and updating a work portfolio,   supply and demand, work ethics, and managing money.  Students will receive a Tatami "paycheck" and be taught about  taxes, saving, and spending (living expenses).  Hopefully after our program they will be THANKING their parents!  We will run through lessons that will require them to use their Tatami money for  rent, and basic living expenses. The Tatami dollars they earn will also have worth from parents and Tatami activities.  Parnets will be asked to agree to simple rewards for their  T.dollars.  Students will also achieve work experience, possible community service (if needed) and a recommendation to add to a portfolio.

Friday  8am-12pm. Actual day hours are flexible . Parents must provide lunch, we will provide healthy snacks.

We know that every child has special needs and circumstances. Some students just need community service, others need to have work experience so that they can get a job,  and then there are some that need special coaching.  Please call for a consultation; we will be honored to work with your child.   510-502-8517
