Berkeley High Crew Wins Bronze at 2011 Nationals

Berkeley High finished with a time of 6:46.90.

The Berkeley High Crew men's lightweight 4+ boat won the bronze medal at the 2011 US Rowing Youth National Championship on Sunday, June 12. Berkeley High School rowers last won a medal at Nationals in 2007.

Berkeley High's team finished with a time of 6:46.90, just .28 seconds behind New Canaan. Sammamish won gold with a time of 6:44:63. The race took place at Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Berkeley's rowers were Lucas Bell (sophomore), Daniel Remler (senior), Ian Pengra (junior), Kevin Meador (junior) and cox Hannah Lukanuski (senior). Chris Dadd and Gulliver Scott coached.
