Approximately 30 artists will be chosen to have their art work on display for one year. Each artist will receive a $150 honorarium and will be eligible for a $3,000 purchase award given out by the Civic Arts Commission.

There will be a celebration event with music and refreshments and welcoming remarks by city officials. An exhibit announcement card will be designed and printed at no cost to the artists.

Cards will be given to each of the artists to invite family and friends.

Entries will be submitted digitally and there is no entry fee. The staff of SlideRoom, the digital application site, will be available to help any artist in need of technical assistance to enter their images.

A Selection Panel composed of Civic Arts Commissioners, artists and staff will choose the work.
