Mayor Wants to Hear Your Ideas to Improve Telegraph Avenue

Mayor Tom Bates invites residents to attend a meeting this Thursday to brainstorm future solutions to revitalize Telegraph Avenue.

The Berkeley Mayor’s Office invites you to attend a Community Workshop to discuss the future of Telegraph Avenue on Thursday, Feb. 28, from 6-8:30 p.m. at Willard Middle School (2425 Stuart St.).

This interactive workshop will include presentations from City Staff as well as other community organizations.

Community members will also have an opportunity to brainstorm solutions and identify both short and long-term goals for the future in terms of livability, economic development, infrastructure, safety, and much more.

This event is free to the public.

"This meeting will allow the public to offer their ideas on how we might revitalize Telegraph Avenue," said Mayor Tom Bates. "From their input, I hope to set up a process that will enable us to make positive changes."
