Berkeley Public Library Temporarily Shut Down by Fire Saturday

A fire in the bathroom of Berkeley's Central Library caused a temporary shutdown, but officials hope the library will be up and running by Monday.

Berkeley's main public library was shut down by a fire on Saturday but is expected to reopen Monday.

The fire took place in one of the Central Library's public bathrooms on Saturday, library officials said on the Berkeley Public Library Facebook page. The cause of the fire is unknown, but there were no injuries.
