University Police Place in K9 Competition

Among the high performers were some of UC Berkeley's own police dogs.

University of California Police Departments' K9 teams competed in the Western States Police Canine Association's "End of the Year K9 Trial" earlier this moth.

"Officer Sprecher and K9 Drover performed extremely well, and ended up finishing first in the vehicle search and first in the building portion, which gave them 1st place overall! (Second) place went to San Francisco Police Department Officer Rolly and K9 Pyro, 3rd place went to a deputy from Washoe County, and 4th place went to UCPD's Officer Garlick and K9 Molly."
