Truck Crashes Into Garage Door After Colliding With Another Car

A two-car crash at a busy Berkeley intersection sent a pickup truck careening into a home's garage door this afternoon, a fire official said.
 
Reports came in at 4:14 p.m. of a truck that drove into a home at Blake Street near Sacramento Street, fire Acting Deputy Chief Avery Webb said. The pickup had collided with a compact car in the intersection, sending the pickup into the home's garage door and the compact further down Blake Street, Webb said.
 
Two ambulances were dispatched to the collision but neither driver, each the sole occupant of their vehicle, needed to be taken to the hospital, Webb said.
