A female student was robbed of her cell phone Thursday afternoon, while walking to class at University of California Berkeley’s LeConte Hall.
The phone was pulled from the victim’s hands by a Black male in his late teens or early twenties, according to a University of California Police Department report. She was not injured.
The victim contacted the police immediately after the robbery. She activated her phone finder application, which indicated that the phone was still in Berkeley, but police could not locate the alleged robber.
