Power has been restored to about 1,200 customers impacted by an outage in Berkeley this morning, a PG&E spokeswoman said.

The outage was reported shortly before 2 a.m. in an area including the 2300 and 2400 blocks of Telegraph Avenue, Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Addison Street and Bancroft Way, PG&E spokeswoman Jana Morris said.

Power was restored to all customers by about 4 a.m., she said. A crew at Martin Luther King Jr. Way and Addison Street repaired a damaged underground cable that caused the outage, Morris said.
