Sunday, July 15
8:14 a.m. – Several vehicles were vandalized on the 500 block of Arlington Avenue by someone shooting windows out with a BB or pellet gun.
11:40 p.m. – An armed robbery was reported after a masked man brandished a gun at pedestrians on Ashby Avenue at Benvenue Street, demanded their belongings then fled. The suspect is described as a male of unknown race, 5 feet, 10 inches with a tall, thin, athletic build wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
Monday, July 16
7:40 p.m. – A strong-arm robbery was reported at Haste and Bowditch streets after a man forcibly took a woman’s possessions out of her hand then climbed into a waiting car, which was last seen going north on Bowditch Street. The suspect is described as a black adult male 40 to 50 years old, 5 feet, 7 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches, with a medium build, dark complexion, and wearing a black baseball hat, black zippered hooded sweatshirt and baggy jeans. The car is believed to be a white Honda Accord.
Sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 1:36 p.m. – A window-smash auto burglary and loss of several items including a backpack was reported on the 100 block of Seawall Drive.
Tuesday, July 17
After 8 p.m. – A burglary took place at a home on the 900 block of Hilldale Avenue, with the suspect entering the garage, stealing several items and rifling through a parked car.
Wednesday, July 18
12 a.m. – A window-smash auto burglary and loss of numerous items was reported on the 2000 block of Bancroft Way.
9:50 p.m. – A window smash auto burglary and loss of electronics was reported on the 2500 block of Regent Street.
Thursday, July 19
2:53 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of a chair on fire on the 1200 block of University Avenue at Bonar Street. Firefighters arrived at the scene and dealt with the fire, which is considered to be of suspicious origin.
5:30 p.m. – A window-smash burglary and loss of money and a satchel was reported on the 1000 block of Gilman Street. Auto Burglary, 1000 Block of Gilman Street
