Police Investigating Possible Residential Robbery in Berkeley Hills

A police spokeswoman said one of the suspects may have been armed with a gun.

By Bay City News—

Berkeley police officers are responding to a possible residential robbery in the Berkeley hills this afternoon, police said.

Police spokeswoman Jennifer Coats said officers responded to the 1100 block of Park Hills Road after the possible robbery was reported at about 2:11 p.m.

The alleged victim went to a neighbor's house and asked the neighbor to call police, she said. Coats said it was reported that suspects entered the alleged victim's home and that one of the suspects may have been armed with a gun.

She said officers came to the scene, established a perimeter and searched the home but did not find any suspects. However, Coats said the investigation is ongoing and officers are still at the scene.
