Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Car on I-80 in Berkeley
The collision happened Saturday night near the Buchanan Road exit. The name of the victim has not yet been released.

A pedestrian was killed when he was struck by a vehicle on Interstate Highway 80 in Berkeley Saturday night, according to the Alameda County coroner's bureau.
The collision happened shortly before 11 p.m. near the Buchanan Road exit on eastbound I-80, coroner's officials said.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the collision. The victim has not been identified pending notification of next of kin.
