By Bay City News

Rescue crews responded this afternoon to a yacht that was taking in water and carrying several people and animals in San Francisco Bay.

Seven people, a dog, a cat and a snake were aboard a 30- to 42-foot yacht taking in water near Berkeley, a Berkeley fire captain said.

According to Berkeley fire Capt. Gil Dong, Berkeley fire crews assisted the U.S. Coast Guard on a call for help around 12:30 p.m. about 300 feet north of the Berkeley Pier to help rescue the assortment of people and animals on the yacht.

Berkeley fire crews were waiting by the pier if anyone needs medical attention during the rescue.

The name is weirdly spelled, but not this weird. It's Caffe, not Caffee. I've only typed these wordsRead More a thousand times.
