Duo in Van Rob Man of Bicycle

The cyclist was robbed near Milvia and Oregon streets.

Berkeley police are searching for two men who reportedly jumped out of a van and stole another man's bicycle in Berkeley last week.

The victim was riding near Milvia and Oregon streets on Thursday, Aug. 30, when a white 1990s van cut him off, according to the . One man jumped out of the van, pushed the cyclist to the ground and put the bicycle in the back of the van.

The cyclist did not report suffering any injuries, spokeswoman Jennifer Coats said Thursday.

The suspects are described as two white males. One appeared to be in his 30s, about 6 feet tall, with an athletic build, brown hair, goatee and wearing a white T-shirt. No additional details were provided on the second man.
