Man Robbed at Gunpoint on U.C. Berkeley Campus

The man's laptop was grabbed from his lap while he sat outside of the Tang Center.

A man was robbed at gunpoint of his laptop on the University of Berkeley California Campus Wednesday.

At about 8:15 p.m. two men approached the victim while he sat nearby the university's Tang Center, according to a report released by the University of California Police Department. The first man grabbed the victim's laptop and pointed a handgun at the victim while he ran toward the north sidewalk of Bancroft Way, according to the police report.

The victim was not injured and the suspects were not caught.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1: A White male, approximately 17-20 years of age, 5 feet and 10 inches, 105 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a red baseball cap.

Suspect 2: A White male, approximately 17-20 years of age, 5 feet and 4 inches, 180 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap.
