Officers arriving found a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive their injuries, Coats said. Police later arrested Charles Wood, 21, of Hayward.

Coats said that investigators are still determining his exact involvement in the shooting. Police are actively looking for other suspects but Coats could not provide any descriptions. Woods was booked into jail early this morning and is being held on suspicion of assault with a firearm under $80,000 bail, according to jail records.

He was scheduled to be arraigned at 2 p.m. on Thursday in Wiley Manuel Courthouse in Oakland.
