November 25

Robbery, 2200 Block of Shattuck Avenue, On Sunday, November 25, 2012 at approximately 6:18 PM a robbery occurred in the 2200 block of Shattuck Avenue.  The male victim entered the restroom to a business.  He was followed in by the unknown suspect.  The suspect punched the victim and attempted to take his cell phone.  The victim was able to maintain control of his phone.  The suspect then fled the area.  The victim suffered minor physical injuries.

The suspect is described as:

Suspect – “Black Male Adult, 24 years old, 5’6”-6’1” tall, 160-170 lbs, black chin length dread style hair, clean shaven, light complexion wearing a black puffy jacket”

November 26

Robbery, Dana Street/Dwight Way: On Monday, November 26, 2012 at approximately 1:15 PM a robbery occurred near the intersection of Dana Street and Dwight Way.  The female victim was walking when the male suspect grabbed her cell phone.  The suspect then tried to flee.  The victim caught up to the suspect and struggled with the suspect for her cell phone.  The victim recovered her phone and called the police.  The suspect was later detained by BPD officers and arrested for robbery.

The suspect is described as a “Hispanic Male Adult, dark complexion, 25-30 years old, 5’7”-5’8” tall, short scruffy mustache and goatee, dark brown eyes, dark shoulder length hair wearing a baseball hat, baggy oversized jacket and pants.”

November 27

Residential Burglary, 1700 Block of 10th Street: On Tuesday, November 27, 2012 between 12:45 PM and 2:45 PM a residential burglary occurred in the 1700 block of 10th Street.  The unknown suspect entered the rear yard of the residence.  The suspect then entered the home through a partially opened window.  The suspect stole an IPAD and Laptop from the residence.

November 28

Robbery, 1800 Block of Spruce Street: On Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at approximately 5:38 PM a robbery occurred in the 1800 block of Spruce Street.  The male victim was walking in the area when he was approached by the two unknown suspects.  One suspect grabbed the victim cell phone and pointed a gun at him.  The suspect then demanded the rest of the victim’s property.  The victim gave the suspects his wallet.  The suspects then ran off.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1&2– “Black Male Adults, 20-30 years old, 5’10” -6” tall, medium build wearing black or dark colored hooded sweatshirts.”

November 29

Auto Burglary, 1300 Block of Ada Street: On Thursday, November 29, 2012 between 8:10 AM and 8:17 AM an auto burglary occurred in the 1300 block of Ada Street.  The victim’s vehicle was parked on the street in the 1300 block of Ada Street.  The unknown suspect broke a window to the vehicle.  The suspect then stole the victim’s briefcase, which contained a cell phone and laptop.  

November 30

Commercial Burglary, 2900 Block of College Avenue: On Friday, November 30, 2012 at approximately 3:42 AM a commercial burglary occurred in the 2900 block of College Avenue.  The unknown suspect broke the window to the business.  The suspect stole computers from the business.  

December 1

Stolen Vehicle, 2500 Block of 9th Street: On Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 9:12 AM, the victim reported their vehicle stolen from the 2500 block of 9th Street.   The victim parked his vehicle on the street in front of his residence.  When he went out he discovered his vehicle was missing.  Taken was a Silver, 1997, Honda Civic, two-door.
