Bicycle-Car Collision On Euclid Sends One to the Hospital

One party involved in the collision was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

A bicyclist and motorist collided in the 1800 block of Euclid Avenue on Saturday evening, sending one person to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.

"It appears the driver was pulling out into traffic from the curb when the collision occurred," spokeswoman, officer Jennifer Coats, said Thursday.

"The opinion of the investigating officer is that the primary collision factor was an unsafe start on the part of the driver with an associated factor of speed unsafe for conditions on the part of the bicyclist," Coats said.
