The Arlington Pharmacy in Kensington, around since the late 1920s, will no longer be filling prescriptions.
Owner Wing Gee said he's transferred all of the prescription files to the CVS drugstore at 1382 Solano Ave. in Albany.
His store will stay open, providing over-the-counter drugs, miscellaneous merchandise, gifts and its locally famous postal service, Gee told Patch. The drugstore also serves as a post office.
However, he said he will need to change the name of the business since it no longer operates as a pharmacy and is still considering what new name to choose.
So we want to hear from you...
What new name would you give it?
How long have you frequented this pharmacy for?
Where will you now go to get your prescription drugs?
