Deaths in Berkeley: Former Relocation Camp Resident

Gordon Kono: Kono, of Berkeley, died July 18 of complications with pacemaker surgery. He was 72. Kono was sent to Gila Relocation Camp to live with his family during World War II. He moved to Berkeley when he was 10 and stayed until his death.
