28th Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day

Au Pair Care will be volunteering at the 28th Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 15th.  The events will take place at the Berkeley Marina from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and is open to the public.

California Coastal Cleanup Day, an annual beach and inland waterway cleanup, is the state's largest volunteer event. In 2010, more than 82,000 volunteers removed more than 1.2 million pounds of trash and recyclables from California beaches, lakes and waterways. This year, the event is taking place in conjunction with International Coastal Cleanup, organized by the Ocean Conservancy, and taking place on the same day.
