World Hepatitis Day

The World Hepatitis Alliance has organized a Guinness World Record attempt to celebrate World Hepatitis Day 2013 (July 28) by having the most people performing the “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” actions over a 24 hour period, mirroring the ignorance surrounding viral hepatitis. Twenty-three are set to participate in this global effort to spread awareness about this deadly disease.

The Asian Liver Center and Team HBV, a national network of high schools and universities dedicated to raising hepatitis B and liver cancer awareness, are organizing the world record attempt for World Hepatitis Day in Stanford, Boston, and New York City.  For the Stanford area, the event will take place on July 28th at White Memorial Plaza at Stanford University from 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM. Free milk tea, t-shirts, raffle prizes, and more will be given to participants. We hope to see you there!
