Uncharted: The Berkeley Festival of Ideas, October 25-26, brings together leading thinkers in the fields of the environment, food, science and technology, public policy and social innovation for two extraordinary days in downtown Berkeley. Festival-goers will be engaged in conversations about robotics, the future of food, mass extinction, the 2014 mid-term elections, creativity, the continuing relevance of the humanities, civil rights and much, much more. The festival is being produced by Berkeleyside, Berkeley’s independent news site. Uncharted includes lively hands-on workshops and a fabulous party at the Berkeley Art Museum/Pacific Film Archive. Most of all, Uncharted is a festival: varied, lively, surprising, fun. Register at BerkeleyIdeas.com.
