Researching Your Berkeley DNA: Telling Your Family Story

Genealogy is second only to
gardening as America's favorite pastime. Berkeley Historical Society’s newest
exhibit and lecture series celebrates family collections, photographs, historic
maps, directories, and other resources housed in our archives. It will help you
gather the information you need to find out about people, houses,
neighborhoods, organizations, and your Berkeley DNA.

Family History - Family
Passions

Ellen Fernandez-Sacco, PhD, President of the California Genealogical Society,
will share how she combines her love of art, family genealogy, and social media
to follow her family history passions. Her genealogical work is grounded
in extensive archival research and oral histories.
