League of Women Voters Talk on Warsaw Climate Summit

Tom Athanasiou will give a first-hand account of  the  Warsaw Climate Summit.  Delegates from 194 countires gathered in Warsaw, Poland in late November, 2013 for the 19th round of talks to attempt to hammer out an international treaty to address the threat of climate change.

Mr. Athanasiou is a writer, critic, speaker and organizer.  He is the author of Divided Planet: the Ecology of Rich and Poor, Dead Heat: Global Justice and Global Warming, and (co-author) Greenhouse Development Rights: The Right to
Development in a Climate Constrained World.
