League of Women Voters Conversation: Sunshine on Local Money in Politics

Join this League "Conversation" about local political campaign finance regulations. The Chair of Berkeley's Fair Campaign Practices Commission, Patrick O'Donnell, will join with Caryl O'Keefe, an experienced campaigner in Albany, to discuss how Berkeley and Albany regulate the financing and reporting of contributors to campaigns within their cities. You'll hear from both sides of those involved in elections---those running for local office who must comply with campaign finance rules, and those who enforce them. The League of Women Voters of Berkeley, Albany and Emeryville invites your participation in talking about the local regulation of money in politics--an issue that the League has made its highest priority at the national and state level.
