Death, and Other Hobbies

an original musical by Weston Scott + Jake Tully

directed by Rachel Eisner

Dying is easy, but change is hard. From the minds of Weston Scott and Jake Tully comes an original musical that balances the line between the macabre and the outrageous. Affluent Manhattan socialite Corbin Vickers invites his dearest friends and family to his penthouse for one last evening together before he commits suicide; among the guests are a kosher butcher, a devout doctor from abroad, a British orphan, and a cross-dressing night club singer. When an actual murder interrupts the evening’s events, the alive are left to ponder their own relationships with each other, and ensure that the killer does not strike again. With an engaging score by Chris Lambert, this unapologetically hilarious show peels back a softer side, and demonstrates how every character fails to live up to the expectations of the others in their lives. An uproarious show with a "to die for" cast. Well written, well directed, and well acted. An adult-themed production! :) :) :) :)
