(Affordable) Art From The Heart features new or recent work from all of the artists currently working at NIAD Art Center. With this year’s show there is a twist; everything is on paper and fits your budget. Most pieces are priced between $15 and $150.
Oh yeah, we’ve turned the gift store into a Holiday lounge – quilts, crafts, functional ceramics and trees covered in sparkling jewelry. Of course we have couches and chairs to hang out in and on which to sip our hot-chocolate.
Opening reception if November 17 from 2-5pm. NIAD has been running an acclaimed print program for nearly a quarter century. As our gift to you, at the opening reception, we’re offering a free print workshop to help you create some unique holiday cards.
NIAD is a Richmond-based studio arts program assisting adult artists with developmental and other disabilities. For nearly 30 years, NIAD’s crew of artists has been creating works that engage with many of the conversations current in contemporary art. The exhibition program is supported in part by Mechanics Bank and Chevron Richmond.
