A Light That Never Goes Out: Continuing Traditions in Abstraction, an exhibition of recent Modernist-inspired paintings, is on view in the main gallery.
On view in the annex space is Spring Training, a selection of works about sports by NIAD artists just in time for the beginning of baseball.
And in the storefront is The Superduperultracool Craft Pop Up Shop, a snazzy space offering objects from local craft women, organized by Oakland artist Lisa Solomon.
All exhibitions are on view March 15 through April 26, 2013 at NIAD’s gallery, 551 23rd Street in Richmond.
Opening reception is Saturday, March 16 from 12:30-3:00 pm. Yes, we will have three delicious local food trucks and a dj at our reception, so plan on some lunch and hanging out.
