Monica Lam Says Goodbye to Berkeley Patch... For Now

Former Editor Monica Lam celebrated her last day at the helm of Berkeley Patch on Friday. She hopes to continue contributing in the future.

Monica Lam launched Berkeley Patch on May 13, 2011. Since day one, she has been passionate about covering the eclectic world of Berkeley, engaging with the Berkeley Patch audience, and maintaining high journalistic standards. With her expertise and skill, it's no wonder Monica was destined for the national circuit at the Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR), where she will help build a new video unit. CIR and Patch have collaborated in the past, and Monica hopes to continue the relationship. We will no doubt be seeing her byline on Berkeley Patch again soon, as a contributor, blogger and enthusiast.

While Berkeley Patch seeks a new captain, Patch's roving East Bay Editor Emily Henry will steer the ship. Emily writes Berkeley Patch's "" column and has contributed articles about , the in Berkeley, and , among others. Contact Emily at emily.henry@patch.com.

The name is weirdly spelled, but not this weird. It's Caffe, not Caffee. I've only typed these wordsRead More a thousand times.
