Berkeley's 'Best Rabbis' Featured in Newsweek

Two local rabbis made the magazine's annual "best' list, a Passover tradition.

Two Berkeley rabbis were among those on Newsweek's annual list of "the 50 most influential rabbis in America," according to an article on Jweekly.com.

Newsweek singled out Rabbi Menachem Creditor of Berkeley’s Congregation Netivot Shalom, as “one of the most outspoken, activist rabbis” in the country, Jweeklycom says.

Also listed was Rabbi Jonathan Omer-Man, 79, an independent Berkeley-based rabbi noted for his aproach to meditation and healing.
