Origen: Overcoming the 'Outer Telegraph Avenue' Curse?

Good reviews are coming in for the new "farm to fork" restaurant at 2826 Telegraph Ave.

When Origen — A Farm to Fork Restaurant opened at 2826 Telegraph Ave. recently, Berkeley foodies wondered if the venture could succeed in a location that's been a revolving door for restaurants the past few years.

Now the reviews are coming in, and they are mainly kudos. Read what the East Bay Express has to say about Origen in this Dec. 21 review. The San Jose Mercury News says Origen "celebrates the origins of food with flair." Carole Terwilliger Meyers, the Berkeley-based author of Weekend Adventures in San Francisco and the Bay Area, reports here.
