A.G. Ferrari on Solano closed in April 2011. One of the reasons they closed this store was because of the decreased foot traffic on the Berkeley portion of Solano Ave. We’d like to hear what you want in the former A.G. Ferrari space to help upper Solano gets its mojo back.
Around April 2011, A.G. Ferrari filed chapter 11 bankruptcy and closed several locations in the Bay Area including the Berkeley/Solano, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto and Belmont locations. The slow economy, decreased foot traffic, and the high rents in these locations were factors in these closings.
This space has a little over 2000 sq. ft. It has a kitchen, walk-in cooler, and the permits that allow it to serve food, beer and wine.
