On the Waterfront: Walking Tour Behind the Scenes of Sustainable San Francisco

Whether you have lived in the city for many years, are a newbie or visiting on vacation, this tour will provide you with exciting new insights about the green businesses of San Francisco. And it comes with a view, too! All tour stops are within a nice stroll from each other on this totally carbon free tour.

The Waterfront Tour will bring participants to some of San Francisco’s premiere businesses, such as:

* Hotel Vitale - an environmentally responsible hotel

* TCHO - a local organic chocolate factory

* The farmers market and the Ferry Building

* Plant Cafe Organic - an organic restaurant

* Levi's Plaza - a green building and park

This tour will give participants a unique perspective on how relevant sustainability is to San Francisco and how local business incorporate "green" into their mission. You will meet the green leaders behind the scenes and learn what makes their operations more environmentally friendly.
