Vintage Hat Show at the Pardee Home Museum

Do you love Downton Abbey? Do you love hats? Come to the Pardee Home Museum to see our glorious collection of vintage hats, with an emphasis on hats from the Titanic Era. Admission is only $5.00 to take a walk back in time.

The hats were owned and worn by the Pardee ladies, the wife and daughters of California Governor George Pardee, the "Earthquake Governor." The Pardee Home Museum was continuously occupied by the Pardee family from 1869 until 1981 and contains not only the family's original furniture and belongings, but approximately 30 hats, from the 1960's back to the 1870's.
