String Figures and Tricks from Around the World

Learn to make easy "cat's cradle" style string figures and learn to perform string magic tricks that come from cultures all over the world. Hear stories that accompany string figures also. 

String figures need only a loop of string (provided free to all participants) and you have a creative and challenging family activity that can be done anywhere (even around a campfire with a glow-in-the-dark string). Making string figures builds coordination and memory skills as well.
