At 16, vocalist, pianist and composer Laila Smith has received acclaim for her virtuosic singing, songwriting and arranging for jazz choir. A DownBeat Student Award-winner and recent winner of the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award, Laila presents original arrangements from her expanding songbook.
