The 63rd annual Satsuki Bazaar and Arts Festival will be held the weekend of May 19-20 and will feature free entertainment at the Berkeley Buddhist Temple.
The bazaar and arts festival, the major fund-raiser for the temple, will be held from 3-9 p.m. Saturday, May 19, and from 12 noon-7 p.m. Sunday, May 20. The temple is located at 2121 Channing Way in Berkeley.
The entertainment, which will be held only on Sunday, will feature taiko master Kenny Endo, renowned jazz drummer Akira Tana and the award-winning Portola Middle School Jazz Ensemble of El Cerrito. Josef Anolin, an Oakland native and stand-up comedian, will emcee the entertainent.

The bazaar will feature a variety of Japanese, Hawaiian and Asian foods. The event will also include a silent auction, arts and crafts, games for children, baked goods, flower and garden plants for sale and Buddhist literature.
